Imperfect is the mantra. Skippy is the man. Upon the release of his first album Picture Imperfect, it has been Skippy’s goal to establish a brand that embodies his personal struggle with striving for perfection, and falling short. From his attempts to flip the narrative on what it truly means to be imperfect, comes the birth of this, his official brand.
Skippy is an artist based out of Minneapolis, with experience ranging in all genres from rap, R&B, pop, funk, singer/songwriter, etc. He always performs on his songs however where he truly excels is in his producing. From addictive melodies, powerful drums, and creative sound design, most of the time spent in Skippy's music, is on the instrumentals. He is meticulous when creating his sound to produce something that is not only catchy or enticing, but meaningful and impactful as well. On top of music, Skippy continues to polish his skills in design as well. This secondary passion is a big contributing factor to the birth of Imperfect, and will continue to develop as Skippy explores all there is to find in both music and fashion.
